The release date for the latest Lego video game, the third based on Batman (and the wider DC Comics universe) was announced today. Coming in November is Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, which takes the Batman adventure into outer space. The snazzy space-cape cover-art was also released today.
Several trailers have already been released for the game, which demonstrate typical Lego video game humour, and a healthy dose of sci-fi in this super-hero game.

Something announced at Comic Con, is that Adam West will be appearing in the game, both as himself, and reprising his role as 1960s Batman in a bonus retro level, complete with "pow!" fight effects.
A behind-the-scenes cast video has also been released, which includes a glimpse at the 60s scenes:
Finally, several retailers are offering pre-order bonuses with the game, including mini-sets and keyrings. Most are nothing new, but as Comic Vine reported, Game Stop do have something special, an exclusive Plastic Man minifigure.
